Terms and End User License Agreement

1. Grant of license

JustDocz grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use JustDocz on devices you own or control, subject to these terms.

JustDocz may be used in a limited capacity without payment. Features designated Pro require a valid purchased license. A Pro license is for one user and may be activated on up to two devices. Sharing license keys is prohibited.

2. Restrictions

You may not copy, modify, merge, distribute, sublicense, or sell the software; reverse engineer or attempt to derive its source code except where applicable law permits; remove proprietary notices; use it unlawfully; share or resell a license key; or circumvent license validation.

3. Ownership

JustDocz and its copies are the intellectual property of JustDocz and are protected by applicable copyright laws. These terms grant a license and do not transfer ownership. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

4. Open-source components

JustDocz includes open-source components governed by their respective licenses. Nothing in these terms limits rights granted by an applicable open-source license.

5. Privacy

The JustDocz desktop application does not collect or transmit telemetry, usage analytics, or automatic crash reports. Personal files, document contents, and the local search index are not uploaded by JustDocz. See the Privacy Policy for details.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the software is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. JustDocz does not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, JustDocz is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages, including loss of data, business interruption, or lost profits. Total liability will not exceed the amount paid for the software during the twelve months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

Your license terminates automatically if you fail to comply with these terms. Upon termination, you must stop using and destroy copies of the software. JustDocz may deactivate a license used in violation of these terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of courts in India, subject to mandatory rights available under applicable law.

10. Entire agreement and updates

These terms constitute the agreement concerning JustDocz and supersede prior discussions about the software. We may update them by posting a revised version on this page.
