1. Our core commitment

JustDocz is a privacy-first application. Your documents and their contents never leave your device. File parsing, text extraction, OCR, search indexing, and local AI processing happen on your computer. We do not have access to your files, file names, or document contents.

2. Information we collect

No desktop telemetry

The JustDocz desktop application does not collect or transmit telemetry, usage analytics, or automatic crash reports.

Website analytics

The JustDocz website uses Vercel Web Analytics to measure aggregated page views, referrers, device types, and general geographic information. Vercel Web Analytics does not use cookies and does not associate analytics with an identifiable individual.

License validation

When you activate a Pro license, the licensing system may process your license key, a non-reversible device fingerprint, and the activation timestamp to enforce device limits and prevent unauthorized key sharing.

Downloads and support

OCR language-pack downloads may contact GitHub’s content-delivery network, which may record standard request metadata. If you contact support, we may collect your name, email address, and the information you choose to provide so we can respond.

3. How we use information

We use limited information to validate licenses, prevent fraud, understand website performance, and answer support requests. We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising.

4. Service providers

JustDocz may use Lemon Squeezy for payments and licensing, GitHub for language-pack delivery, Microsoft Store for application distribution, and Vercel for website hosting and anonymized web analytics. Each provider processes information under its own privacy policy.

5. Retention

• License activation records: for the duration of the license.
• Support correspondence: up to two years.
• Vercel visitor hashes: automatically reset after 24 hours.

6. Security

We use reasonable safeguards for the limited information we process. Information sent to service providers is encrypted in transit using TLS.

7. Children’s privacy

JustDocz is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information and to object to or restrict certain processing. Contact support@justdocz.com to make a request.

9. Changes

We may update this policy and will post the current version on this page. Significant application-related changes may also be announced in JustDocz.
